What to expect at your session
1. First, expect to have a great time, because you will. It’s okay to be a little nervous at first, but you will soon relax with Mike’s easy going manner and super creative photography.
2. Plan on arriving 10 minutes early to freshen up, check your outfits, hair, and makeup. Remember, we want you to have fun. Being late will allow less time for your portraits and make you feel rushed.
3. Make sure you know how many outfits you want and what special items or people you want photographed with you, and then let us know. If you would like help making clothing and prop decisions give us a call and setup a Designer Consultation.
4. Wearing one of your outfits to the session will save you some time. Ask us what we will be doing first; it depends on the time of your appointment and whether we will be indoors or out. It is okay to bring several outfits, we encourage it. Coordinating the outfits to the different sets is also a key to awesome portraits.
5. Don’t forget your concealer makeup for blemishes and scars.
6. Please remember your $100 down payment; we can’t photography you without it. Cash, check, MasterCard and Visa are accepted.
7. If you are unsure of something or have questions before or during your session, please ask. We want you to feel comfortable so you can get the senior portraits that you want.
What else can I bring?
That’s where the fun really begins. Part of what makes Mike’s photography so fantastic is his ability to bring out the various facets of your personality. Make sure you bring your favorite hat, instrument, pets, sunglasses, hobby, leather jacket, etc. Use your imagination, and we’ll use ours. Let us know what you have in mind so that we can be prepared. Just give us a call or book a Designer Consultation.
Can I bring someone with me?
Absolutely! Some people find it more comfortable to bring Mom and Dad, a friend, brother, or sister along to help ease the “camera room jitters” and give you the extra confidence that you look great.
